I'm a journalist with a passion
for social media.
I’m a digital producer at WTSP (10 Tampa Bay) who loves storytelling, all things social media and audience engagement. I cover a range of topics from entertainment to business to politics, and in a tropical market, of course, weather. I am a skilled reporter who is fast, accurate and curious. Every day, I come to work eager to share my ideas and excited to tackle the news of the day. I have experience handling breaking news coverage, and I work well under pressure. But I can also pitch longer, evergreen stories using public records. I can file state and federal records requests and have experience using LexisNexis and PACER. On the social media side, I am well-versed in Adobe Photoshop to create appealing social media graphics to boost engagement on our socials and bring traffic to our website. For video editing, I am proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, and at my current job, I used Edius to create short-form video for YouTube shorts and Instagram reels. One of my favorite things about my job is being able to collaborate with the digital team with the common goal of keeping our audience informed, prepared and connected.

I was a WLRN summer 2023 reporting and production intern. I wrote stories for radio and also reported, wrote and edited audio wraps and features for radio. I used Adobe Audition to create these pieces. Occasionally, I wrote a web story to accompany the radio version. You can find those below:
