Results/Benchmarking

These are the analytics from WTSP's social media accounts. My team and I have strived to continuously grow the platforms to drive traffic back to the website. I have also included the analytics for some of the posts I have made, including links, photos and graphics as well as the numbers for some of the days where I took control of the social media accounts.

Results

  • In the past six months:

    • The number of link clicks from socials has gone up 13.6%​

  • In the past year since I've been at 10 Tampa Bay:

    • Content interaction is up by 187.1%

    • Link clicks are up by 80.5%

    • Follows are up by 106.3%

    • Visits to social channels are up by 183.4%

Notable Days where I led social

  • D.C. plane crash

    • 78% of page clicks during my shift (5 a.m. to 2 p.m.) came from social referrals 

  • Pope Francis dies ​

    • Started a live stream of Vatican City all day through VMIX with lower thirds

      • After eight hours: 192k views, 967 reactions, 371 comments and 87 shares

  • Trump's inauguration
